Valido Capodarca, author of books on monumental trees in Italy, remembers the lost Quercia di Racciano ("Oak of Racciano") on the tree enthusiasts social media pages "Amici degli alberi" ("Friends of the trees") and "Amanti degli alberi monumentali" ("Lovers of monumental trees"). Teresio named his winemaking activity after the centuries-old tree that lived on the estate he had purchased in San Gimignano in the '60s.
